At the Villa Borghese park

Asking the BIG question by the lake side

What a wonderful lakeside proposal in Rome this was! Marking the perfect spot with rose petals on the ground! And finding them as you casually stroll around the lake in the Villa Borghese park. A beautiful proposal candidly photographed from a distance. With the scenic view of Temple of Asclepius in the far background. A surprise which was welcomed with joy and excitement! Making acquaintance with the photographer and his wonderful assistant after recuperating breath from the great surprise! And later to begin a fantastic engagement photoshoot around the park.

Starting with pictures of the beautiful engagement ring photographed over fuchsia bougainvillea flowers. Which were also used to shoot some nice couple portraits. Continuing on with our engagement photo session by taking some nice walking shots as we made way towards the Temple of Diana. Where we took some posed portraits on the steps and in between columns. With some final shots on the central pedestal. Before heading out to the Pincio park outlook. Where a wonderful sweeping view over Rome’s rooftops was waiting for us!
